At what time can we check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is from 2:00 pm, check-out by 12.00 pm.
Does the hotel provide a shuttle service from airport to hotel and vice versa?
The Hotel Mediterraneo may, on request, arrange a transfer to/from the airport. The one-way cost is €25.00 (up to 3 people), €35.00 (4-8 persons), while the return ticket airport-hotel costs €40.00 (1-3 persons) and €60.00 (4-8 people).
How much is a taxi from the airport?
The rate is around €25.00 Euro, of course this depends on traffic.
What city bus gets to the hotel from the airport or train station?
- From the airport you can take the bus n. 457 (Alibus) and once in Etnea street, get off at Piazza Stesicoro.
- From there walk along the Roman amphitheater on your left, then turn left into Sant'Euplio Street.
- Take Cimarosa street right and continue until you reach Androne street.
- A few meters on your left, take Ughetti street and continue to the intersection with Adua street.
- Turn right and then right again into dott. Consoli street, where at number 27 you will find our hotel.
Alternatively, continue on Alibus n. 457 to the last stop (Central Railway Station) and there take bus n. 431 BLACK and continue until you reach Lago Nicito Street near the intersection with dott. Consoli Street.
Do you have a garage?
Yes, you can require it with an additional cost of €9.00, but you must book it together with your room. Otherwise, you can take advantage of a discounted parking a few blocks from the hotel.
Do children stay for free?
One child under 12 years old stays free in room with two adults.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
The Wi-Fi is always available free of charge in all rooms and public areas. There is also an Internet point where you can connect for free if you don’t have a personal computer. Moreover, you can choose the business package, a whole of services dedicated to business travelers.
The internet point is also equipped with a printer / scanner that can be used for free.
Are there both smoking and non-smoking rooms?
The hotel has both types of rooms. The preference may be indicated in the notes at the time of booking.
Has the hotel a restaurant?
No, but our bar offers a "Snack Bar" menu, which allows you to order salads, a sandwiches, pizzas or the famous Sicilian "arancini".
Alternatively, 5-minute on foot far from the hotel, there are restaurants where you can taste typical Sicilian dishes, while walking another 10-15 minutes, in the center, there are lots of restaurants and pizzerias - the reception staff will be pleased to advise you in the choice.
Do you have a luggage storage?
After checking-out before 12.00 pm, you can leave your luggage at the hotel and come to pick them up later.
Is it possible to request a cot?
Yes, at the time of booking. It will have no additional costs.
Are pets allowed?
No, not even small ones.
What is the cancellation policy like?
Generally you can cancel a reservation within 4 pm, the day before the arrival, unless you book a promotional rate with specific cancellation policies, such as the non-refundable prepaid rates that don’t involve changes or cancellations in front of a significant reduction in price.
Has the hotel a fitness room?
Yes, access is free to all guests and it is open from 8 am to 9 pm. There are the main equipments by Tecnogym (electronic treadmill, exercise bike, multi bench, weight rack, etc..), a stereo with MP3 player and a TV in order to train listening to the music or following your favorite TV shows.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes, and it is always a buffet one.
